Destination Canada - 7 days left
Only one week remains until I leave Norway for some months of powderskiing in Canada. I think I'm quite set and ready for departure. I got tickets, passport, money and so on. Emil will take care of my apartment while I'm away and make sure that my single green plant won't die while I'm away. I've had it since I moved in to my apartment in 2003, so you better not let it die, Emil ;)
I've arranged transport with Earl from Smokey Mountain Charters & Tours for pickup at the airport in Calgary and transport to Fernie. The last snowfall in Fernie came several weeks ago, so there better be some heavy snowfalls pretty soon. The snowpack is 158cm per now, so there is plenty of snow, but I want more powder!
The last weekend will be spent in Hemsedal with people from work in our yearly Hemsedal-trip. I had to make sure that I didn't miss out on this years trip before I went to Canada. These trips are memorable trips with very good friends from work ;)
Some of my friends are coming over on Wednesday to watch photos and videos from last years Chamonix trip and the previous years Val d'Isere trip. And of course a last night of socializing with my friends.
Only 7 days left :)
Next blog update will probably be from Canada! weeeee
